He also highlights the popularity of Melvor Idle as proof of how the talent that is available can be found in the community of any game which is something Jagex has seen before OSRS Gold. "We've always been able to find this RuneScape communities to be a great sources of talents for Jagex and not just for game developers but all of the many jobs within a games studio," he says. "RuneScape has seen more than 300 million accounts created in the last 20 years. This means that the number of skilled players that have played the game is enormous."
Following the successful partnership with Games By Malcs, Pfeiffer says he's looking forward to working more collaboration with indie developers across the world if they're creating project that "align with RuneScape's design philosophy and Jagex's core values" and is hoping Melvor's success will motivate more indies to reach out to Jagex Studios.
With version 1.0 of Melvor Idle, it is now available. Games By Malcs and Jagex collaborate on the development of future content, as well as other potential titles that are set in the Melvor universe. Malcolm is thankful to Jagex for its ongoing support, especially when it comes to bringing the game to new players.
